Elevatoris.com‘s team came to Chesne Grain-Collecting Station in Balta, Odesa region as to home place. Did they ever! – They’ve been watching the construction of the elevator from the green field. Let us remind, that nowadays the onsite storage capacity of this elevator is 27.5 th tons.
Here it is installed:
3 cone-shaped bottom silo of KMZ Industries production with 1.5 th tons of operational storage capacity each;
3 flat-bottom silo of KMZ Industries production with storage capacity of 5 th tons tins each;
Brice-Baker column grain dryer (KMZ Industries production) with productive capacity of 112 tons per hour;
2 color sorters (KBS and BCS) with the capacity of 100 tons per hour;
Conveying (transportation) equipment – 7 bucket carriers with the capacity of 175 tons per hour each;
Office building settled;
Modern laboratory equipped;
But this was just the first stage.
According to Alebor Group management team, the need for capacity expansion was triggered by the increase of the silo services demand. Within a very short term this enterprise has gained a good reputation among the customers not only in neighboring districts, but throughout the whole Odesa region. The available capacities can’t meet such a demand. So, the management team of the company has taken the decision to expand the elevator.
The whole construction is projected to be finished by 15 June.
