Elevatorist.com team visited Chesne Grain-Collecting Station of Alebor Group of Companies for the third time on 15 May. Whilst during our first visit we saw just the formation of the first silo bin’s foundation and silo basements’ construction, now the first silo bin is mounted and the roof of the second silo bin is being assembled. Automated intake point and grain dryer are actively being constructed. But let’s tell about everything in due order.

Flat-bottom silos’ mounting;
Project design of transportation system;
Grain dryer ‘s capacities extension;
Construction of the second automated grain intake point;
Site improvement works.
The first silo bin of KMZ Industries production of the second cosdtruction phase with storage capcity of 5 thousand tons is almost ready. It was mounted within 2 weeks. Finally, two lower tiers should be added. Their construction was delayed due to weather conditions. According to the weather forecast there should be thunderstorm, that’s why it was decided to put it off the mounting works for one day. As Oleg Zlatov, Director of Chesne Grain-Collecting Station told us, working at height is forbidden in a thunderstorm.
It’s better to wait then to risk people’s lives, — the Director underlined.
But, in spite of the rain, the construction works were not stopped. Istead of high-rise works it was decided to performe the assemblying of second silo bin’s roof.
