Special Project: Birth of Khrystynivske GCS. New capacities (Part III)

to the news

Elevatorist.com visited Khrystynivsle Grain Collecting Station on 16 May. By that time 50% of construction works had been finished at the elevator. What is more important, Oleksiy Tsurkan, Director of Grain Elevators Division of Alebor Group of Companies noted is that the most difficult part of works is done – finishing of in-ground works and construction of office building. According to him, more efficient works remained.

At the stage of in-ground works there was a fair amount of tasks done, supporting beddings and walls of silo basement galleries are cast – but all these things are not very “visionable”. But after the silos’ constructions grow up and laboratory premises become more distinguishable, the construction site will start pleasing the eye. We are heading to quicker and easier stages of construction process, — Oleksiy Tsurkan smiles.

In this issue read about:

Silos’ mounting;

Roof assembling technology;

Force majeure with nuts;

Laboratory construction.

By 16 May the first flat-bottom silo was completely mounted at Khrystynivske Grain-Collecting Station. Totally 6 silo bins of KMZ Industries with storage capacity 10,300 tons each will be installed in this line.
