On the last day of summer, Alebor Group opened a new page in the history of its enterprises. The reason for this was Field Day – a special scientific and practical event by Bayer, held in partnership with Alebor Group.
The event took place on the basis of Kolos ALLC in Khomenky village, Vinnytsia region. The agenda covered topical issues on corn cultivation. Bayer experts shared their experiences through presentations and reports. They told about the technology of corn and winter grain crops seeds protection. Climate Field View digital platform and DEKALB corn hybrid line review were also presented at the event.
It is noteworthy, that the location of the event was accommodated right in the field. Everything was integrated very in a very harmonious and comfortable way: there were tents for lectures, recreation areas, presentation stands of the companies set up. It looked like a real research station, where the most painful and topical issues were raised.

120 people – farmers from Vinnytsia and Cherkasy regions – gladly responded to the invitation of the organizers to take part in the event.

Many thanks to Bayer and all the guests. Our group of companies has its own history, grain elevators and a large truck fleet. This year we tried our efforts to work in farming business as well. And to avoid any mistakes, we work with professionals.
Besides theoretical part, Alebor Group together with Bayer prepared a workshop for the audience. All participants walked around the field, where they could clearly see the conditions for growing experimental corn varieties, ask questions and, of course, get answers.

Our goal is to present even more interesting program next year, where producers of equipment, seeds and fertilizers will be invited.
I would also like to thank Bayer for investing in science. Science and cooperation is the path we Ukraine, must follow. I believe we are able to achieve 100-120 million tons of crop yields in Ukraine. I believe in its huge export potential. The bigger the harvest – the bigger the GDP is, and the better life we will live.
The Field Day became a good opportunity for all representatives of agricultural companies and enterprises who visited it to share experiences, check the latest trends in the field of scientific research and create a basis for future cooperation with each other.
